Celebrating 2020 Biennale of Sydney

The Marina Café & Bar was established in 2010; created to service the trade workers on the docks side of the island. It started as a ‘tuck shop’ container bar and over the last 10 years has evolved into a popular ‘hide away’ café and beer garden for tourists and locals alike.

The Marina Café & Bar, located in the Docks Precinct on Camber Wharf, is excited to be part of this year’s 2020 Biennale of Sydney.

Serving freshly made pizzas, toasted wraps, fresh salads, mouthwatering burgers and loaded nachos 7 days a week, the Marina Café & Bar will also offer our bi-annual “Biennale BBQ” in the outdoor beer garden. With marinated chicken skewers, falafel sticks (vegan) and beef sausages, there’s something for everyone. Our new purpose-built container bar pours icy cold Furphy larger, Byron Bay pale ale, and James Squire apple cider straight from the tap. Fresh and new will be Aperol Spritzers from the bar, as well as a quality selection of Australian wine. Come on over, pull up a deck chair or bean bag and relax on the grass!

From March through to July, the Marina Café & Bar’s Café & Kitchen menu will operate 7 days a week.

Extended opening times for special events; opening times may vary in extreme weather- check cockatoo island website for up to date information. We appreciate your patience as wait times may occur during special event peak times.

Along with serving a variety of freshly prepared meals from our container café and food truck kitchen, we will be operating our Biennale BBQ
